With several sites located across Victoria, this role is based at our Tatura location and currently employs up to 350 employees.

About the opportunity

Flavorite are looking for a driven and conscientious Harvest Supervisor to lead and motivate team members to attend to all of the harvesting needs of our variety of Tomato and Cucumber crops, whilst achieving company KPI’s and highest quality standards ensuring optimum yield. Reporting directly to the Harvest Manager, you will have proven experience in training, instructing and motivating a team to reach company targets.

A background in Agriculture or Horticulture is highly regarded. However, the role will also suit a candidate with strong demonstrable leadership and communication skills developed within another industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage labour requirements and strategy
  • Ensure quality and KPI targets are being achieved
  • Manage performance of direct reports promptly
  • Operate a range of plant and equipment the farm
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are in working order and available for use
  • Record and report on crop issues to appropriate department

Skills and Experience:

  • Lead, manage and instruct Harvest team
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Sound understanding of OHS systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound analytical, problem solving and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
