With several Flavorite sites located across Victoria, we are currently seeking applications for a Packing Leading Hand role based at our growing Tatura location which currently employs up to 250 employees.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Packing Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of the packing functions to ensure production deadlines are met. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Operate packing machines in accordance with daily orders.
• Packing tasks on the production lines.
• Give clear direction, instruction and support to all team members.
• Assist in the management of quality and KPI requirements to be achieved for packing team and deal with issues promptly and proactively.
• Assisting the Packing Supervisor:
  - to manage workloads through supervision and delegation.
  - in training and development of team members to complete packing tasks.

About the department:

• This is a full-time role with an early morning start. 
• You will be working from Monday - Friday
• Our packing facility has over 30 staff during our peak season!
• In our peak season, we pack 200 tons per week of large truss tomatoes, plus our other produce!
• We work with the latest technological advances and have a strong regard for safety.
• We love to share our knowledge and develop our team to offer a long-term career.
