Flavorite is undergoing a high level of growth & to continue our focus on excellence in all facets of operations, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our leadership team bsaed at our Mansfield location, which currently employs up to 60 employees.

 

About the role:

The Picking Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Picking Supervisor with the management and implementation of the picking strategies in order to achieve budgeted production levels.

There is more to fruit picking than you would think!  Although this can be a physical role, the people, culture, safety focus, continuous innovation, and on the job learning makes this a career to be excited about!

The role will complement a friendly, motivated applicant who love's to jump in and collaborate with others, leads by example and enjoy's being hands on!

In this role you will be required to:  

  • Undertake a variety of picking tasks to ensure target times are achieved
  • Provide support to Picking Supervisor and staff by partipating in the training and onboarding of new team members
  • Drive the picking trolley
  • Participate in end of crop clean up duties
  • Perform higher duties in absence of Supervisor

  • Strong ability to follow procedures & instructions, and relay them on to the team
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Ability to differentiate between red, orange, yellow and green
