Flavorite is undergoing a high level of growth & to continue our focus on excellence in all facets of operations, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Maintenance team based at our Tatura location, which currently employs over 400 employees.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be primarily involved with the maintenance of plant, equipment, and buildings, ensuring tasks are performed in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner. With each day presenting new challenges and a variety of work, this role will suit someone who has a high level of problem solving skills and is able to react quickly to address any issues that may arise.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of fixed and mobile plant, equipment and buildings as specified on work orders delivered through computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) MEX
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precise measuring instruments
- Fault finding and diagnosing issues with plant and equipment inlcuding manufacturing and packing lines
- Procurement of parts
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and the ability to complete critical breakdown maintenance in a timely manner
- Operation of maintenance plant and equipment
- Participate in a roster that provides support to staff and farm in emergency breakdown situations
About you:

- Be a qualified Fitter and Turner, Fitter Welder, Electrician, Boil maker or similar trade qualification
- Previous experience in fitting out a packing facility / installation of manufacturing equipment inlcuding automation of equipment (desirable)
- Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude
- Hold a current driver’s license
- Experience with CMMS MEX, or similar software system, a forklift license and EWP ticket is highly desirable
- Be able to work a 38-hour-a-week over 5 days
- Flexible with weekend work when necessary during emergency breakdowns
