This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive IT professional looking to grow their career in IT operations. In this role, you will support a range of IT activities, from system architecture and infrastructure management to user support and disaster recovery. You will collaborate with the IT team and key stakeholders to ensure systems align with business goals and help implement continuous improvements. Based at our Tatura site, this role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic IT environment and enhance overall operations.

IT Support & System Management

  • Collaborate with the IT support team to provide proactive assistance for all IT systems and network infrastructure.
  • Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and improvements to ensure smooth implementation and timely delivery.
  • Support the platform management of our in-house systems related to our glasshouses. 
  • Help manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure system resilience and data protection.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with key stakeholders to assess current and future IT needs, identifying potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of IT records, including infrastructure maps, device lists, and software inventories.
  • Proactively assist in reviewing and improving the IT infrastructure, driving continuous improvement and risk management.

User Support & Training

  • Work with IT partners to resolve user issues and ensure effective, timely solutions.
  • Collaborate in the development and delivery of employee training for IT systems and new technologies.
  • Help establish and manage user support levels, implementing an effective issue triage system.

 

What You Will Bring 

  • Great energy & passion for all things IT related! 

  • A Degree in Information Technology, a related field or relevant experience in a similar role

  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be agile with changing priorities 
  • Experience in desk support, computer protocols and networking principles
