About The Role  

The newly created Safety, Health & Wellbeing Business Partner at Flavorite plays a vital role in operationalising and driving the organisation’s health, safety, and employee wellbeing agenda in our Northern Region. Reporting to the Manager of Safety, Health & Wellbeing, this role is responsible for operationalising a culture of safety, health and wellbeing across our Northern sites.  

The role partners with our Northern Victoria sites at Tatura, Katunga and Mansfield. This is an onsite role based from our Tatura site and will require regular travel to Mansfield and Katunga.   

What You Will Be Doing 

As a business partner and subject matter expert, this role involves supporting the Organisation in developing and implementing safety and health initiatives and programs, ensuring a streamlined approach to compliance with all relevant Australian legislation, and driving initiatives that foster and contribute to a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.   

Key Deliverables include: 

Group Strategy Support: 

Collaborate with site leaders and department managers to align Safety, Health & Wellbeing strategies with business objectives 

Health, Safety & Wellbeing Partnering: 

Collaborate with the Health & Safety Manager and People Leaders at Flavorie to develop, and implement Health, Safety and Wellbeing plans and initiatives in a streamlined approach across all sites to ensure workplace safety and employee well-being are prioritised across the Northern sites. This includes risk mitigation, policy and procedure development, compliance management and strong communication and reporting.  

Return to Work & Injury Management: 

Lead the management of Workcover claims and Return to Work processes to proactively support early intervention, treatment and RTW of injured workers in a timely manner. 

Compliance: 

Management of data analysis and insights to allow us to identify trends to drive continuous improvement. 

Continuous Improvement: 

Collaborate, support, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the business to enhance health, safety and well-being service delivery and strategies.

What You Will Bring  

  • Recognised Degree qualification in Work Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety  
  • Qualifications in mental health, wellbeing, or psychosocial safety (desired).  
  • Qualifications in workplace training, incident investigation, and return-to-work management (desired).  
  • Strong experience in safety, health & wellbeing in fast-paced, multi-site environments is highly valued  
  • Demonstrated experience delivering safety leadership and managing workplace risks.  
  • Strategic Thinking: proven ability to contribute to strategic planning and understanding of the broader organisational context.  
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Legislation   
  • Strong experience in managing workplace injuries and return to work.  
  • Ability to coach and guide stakeholders on health and safety matters and Australian legislation.  
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.  
  • Strong ability to influence and engage stakeholders.  
  • Skilled in driving and managing change initiatives.  
  • Analytical, collaborative, and data-driven decision-making.  
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.  
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
