About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-potential HR professional looking to develop their career in human resources. In this role, you will support a wide range of HR activities, from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and performance management. You will collaborate to enhance our People practices and contribute to a thriving workplace.  Working from our Tatura site, this role will be responsible for:

  • Talent Management & Workforce Planning: 
    Managed group casual recruitment and assist in entry-level permanent opportunities.

  • Conduct new employee inductions and assisted in the management of onboarding and offboarding.

  • Employee Relations & Industrial Relations: 
    Support and assist in providing advice with basic ER investigations & performance management processes at team member level 
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: 
    Support initiatives to enhance engagement, retention, and culture.
  • Health, Safety & Wellbeing: 
    Contribute to health and safety initiatives and promote a safe work environment

  • Continuous Improvement & Operations: 
    Assist in HR process improvements, align practices with industry standards

  • HR Projects:

  • Collaborate with the wider HR Team on all people-related projects as necessary 

  • Reporting:
  • Assist in monthly reporting for the business and team  

 

What You Will Bring 

  • Great energy & passion for all things People related! 

  • A Degree in HR, Business, Psychology or a related field 

  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be agile with changing priorities 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
