About the Role
As a Grower at Flavorite, you’ll be hands-on using data and insights (Priva) as well as crop walk-throughs to make informed decisions to strengthen the quality and yield of the crop.
What will you be doing?
- Plan and manage crop production activities to meet yield and quality targets
- Monitor crop health, climate conditions, and irrigation schedules
- Utilise systems for crop and climate controls
- Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., crop care, maintenance, tech support)
- Assist with pest and disease management, including implementing IPM strategies
- Lead and supervision of direct reports
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field is advantageous but not essential
- Prior experience as a Grower or Agronomist
- Strong practical knowledge of crop cycles and climate control systems, including glasshouse software and technology.
- Understand of IPM and applications
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, collaborative attitude with great communication skills
