Due to company expansion, Flavorite's Packing department is undergoing a high level of growth in their team. In order to achieve excellence in all facets of Production operations, we are looking for a Packing Supervisor and a Packing Leading Hand to join our busy and dynamic Leadership team.

Both of these Leadership roles are full-time positions with some variation in hours through the peak season.

 

Details of these roles are below:

Packing Supervisor

The Packing Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the packing functions to ensure that quality and timeliness of customer orders meet expectation.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Organising the setup and start-up of all packing machinery and the sequence in which orders will be produced
  • Ensuring all orders are completed within the required timeframes
  • Ensuring quality standards are met and achievement of KPIs
  • Management of team including recruitment, orientation, training and performance management 
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing levels are available to meet the weekly packing tasks

It will be desirable for the successful candidate to have previous experience in the FMCG industry or working with perishable product.

The days of work for the Packing Supervisor are Monday to Friday. 

 

 

Packing Leading Hand

This hands-on role will suit someone who is highly organised, has well-developed mechanical aptitude, strong communication skills and good computer skills.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating a range of packing machines in accordance with daily orders
  • Ensuring that all tools and equipment are in working order and available for use when required
  • Assisting the Packing Supervisor:
       - to manage workloads through supervision and delegation
       - in training and development of team members to complete packing tasks

This role is full time working 38 hours over 4 days, the days of work are Wednesday to Saturday each week.

 

Previous packing and team management experience is highly desirable for both of these Leadership positions.
